Jacqueline Shakar

Jackie has been a licensed physical therapist and athletic trainer for more than 38 years. She currently works in an outpatient facility, and her clinical focuses include a wide spectrum of patients, including those with pelvic pain, geriatrics, endurance athletes, and those experiencing persistent pain. She received her master's degree in physical therapy from Boston University in 1983 and completed her Transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions in 2011.
Jackie is a board-certified orthopedic specialist by the APTA, and she is a full-time professor in the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Mount Wachusett Community College in Gardner, Massachusetts. Jackie is the senior clinical advisor for the Graston Technique® and is a member of its instructional team. Jackie utilizes the Graston Technique® extensively with her patients at Central Mass PT and Wellness in West Boylston, Massachusetts.
