1. Graston Technique and Other Manual Therapy Techniques for the Sensitive Nervous System
The first chapter of this course, Dr. Shakar will identify the proposed and empirically valid mechanisms and physiological effects of manual therapy, including the effects and benefits of the Graston Technique (GT), and modifications for GT in this patient population.
2. Therapeutic Exercise & Other Complimentary Interventions for the Sensitive Nervous System
The second chapter of this course explores additional interventions for participants to consider when treating patients with sensitive nervous systems. The chapter begins by identifying effective therapeutic exercises for this patient population, and concludes with a discussion of complimentary interventions, including relaxation, meditation, and related techniques.
